Antigen Preparation and Characterization for Phosphorylation Research
INQUIRYCreative BioMart is confident to provide our customers with the most suitable antigens for their kinase/phosphatase biology research and pharmaceutical development projects in a high-quality manner. Our comprehensive services from antigen design, preparation to characterization add quality and convenience to produce custom antibodies.
Background
In immunology, antigens play a vital role in the management of the adaptive immune system. Antigens exist in numerous forms such as molecules, toxins, chemicals, viruses, bacteria, or other foreign substances that enter the body. All antigens interact chemically or physically with antibodies thereby activating the immune response. Antigen epitopes determine which antibody the antigen interacts with. Obtaining high-quality proper antigens is one of the most critical steps for successful antibody development. The specific interactions of antigen and antibodies can be exploited to detect molecules of interest in a variety of research and diagnostic applications.
Phosphorylation and dephosphorylation play important roles in intracellular signal transduction cascades. They are the most common post-translational modifications of proteins. Kinases and phosphatases work in a balance to regulate the function of proteins. The studies of kinases and phosphatases are both necessary and challenging. Antigens and antibodies are useful and powerful research tools to increase our understanding of these enzymes and signaling pathways. Moreover, numerous therapeutic antibodies targeting kinases and phosphatases have been identified and developed for the treatment of diverse diseases, such as cancer and diabetes.

Available Services
Creative BioMart' scientific team has a proven track record of success in the design, preparation, and characterization of different types of antigens. We help our customers choose and optimize the most appropriate method for each project. Our services include, but are not limited to the following:
Antigen Design
Understanding what makes a good antigen is a critical initial step for antigen preparation and the development of antibodies. There are many important considerations when designing antigens, including the homology to the host protein, biological function, and toxins.
Creative BioMart provides professional software and expertise on antigen design to our customers worldwide. Depending on the availability, source, and nature of a given antigen, our scientific team will evaluate several approaches with the aim of designing the best-fit antigen for specific applications.
Custom Antigen Preparation
Antigens may need to be designed and prepared in a variety of forms to meet different requirements for expected applications. Creative BioMart has established a leading integrated technology platform for antigen expression, production, and purification. With many years of experience, we have successfully prepared a very diverse range of antigen types, including peptides, soluble proteins, insoluble proteins, fusion tag proteins, small molecules, whole cells, DNA, and hapten.
Antigen Identification and Characterization
The identification of antigens by a stable and reliable method allows the exclusion of antigens with poor as much as possible before the immune reaction is carried out, laying the foundation for the acquisition of highly effective antibodies. Antigen characterization is usually performed at various stages throughout an entire antigen preparation process.
Creative BioMart provides both traditional and nascent techniques for antigen identification and characterization to help our customers identify novel antigens, the correct antigens, and the optimal antigen-antibody interaction. We provide our customers with full support to ensure the success rate of the following immunization.
Highlights
Creative BioMart provides comprehensive and flexible custom antigen design and preparation services to meet the individual needs of our customers. Our advanced technology platform coupled with a large product portfolio has enabled us to successfully complete numerous challenging projects, helping our customers save time and effort.
