With years of experience in kinase biology and drug development, we can help our customers overcome challenges and accelerate their journey to success.
Background
Kinases play a critical role in the regulation of many cellular processes. The study of their activity and regulatory mechanisms has long been the focus of researchers. The conformational changes that occur at the ligand binding sites of these proteins can be correlated with their catalytic functions. In recent years, there has been a surge in the number of publicly available kinase structures, which has provided a wealth of information on the regulatory mechanisms of these important enzymes. Kinases are highly dynamic enzymes that are involved in various pathological processes. Structure-based ligand binding assays provide a unique window into the role of conformational dynamics in kinase regulation and function, and are therefore of great importance for drug design. Structural information has provided insights into the development of inhibitors targeting the inactive or active form of the kinase.

Service Options
Creative BioMart offers different techniques for structure-based ligand binding assays to meet the needs of different customers. Our scientific team will help our customers develop an optimal strategic plan. If you have any additional requirements, please fill out the online inquiry form and let us know more details.
X-Ray Crystallography
Thousands of X-ray structures of kinases provide a snapshot of their structures in various states of activation and ligand binding. We are equipped with highly specialized instruments for X-ray crystallography to help our customers understand the structural kinase-ligand interaction and accelerate drug development.
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods can be applied to study protein-ligand complexes and identify the ligand binding site. NMR is a powerful tool that can provide complementary information about the conformation and dynamics of proteins in solution. We offer professional NMR services to analysis the structural details of kinase-ligand interactions and assist structure-based drug design.
Cryo-Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM)
Cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) has become a powerful electron microscopy technique used in structural biology. We offer tailored structure-based ligand binding assay development using advanced cryo-EM technology to provide our customers with the structural basis for a comprehensive description of kinase-ligand interactions, which will ultimately inform new approaches to drug design.
